About
I'm a C# software engineer who builds tools for other developers.
At AVEVA I built the Internal Build Downloader, a tool that fetches product builds and handles the setup, so QA and developers no longer download files and install the product by hand. I also built a service watchdog that monitors production .NET services.
The same habit carries over into my game projects. I've shipped two games on Steam, Math Frenzy and Super Hangman, and built Unity editor tooling for Math Frenzy, including ScriptableObject management and a custom charm editor. Right now I'm learning C++ and Unreal, and picking up Go (Dockerview, a Docker TUI, is written in it).
I'm looking for tools and developer-experience roles, where the job is making other engineers faster.
How I got here
World of Warcraft and Warcraft 3 got me into gaming and game development. I started playing when I was 8, and tinkering in the Warcraft 3 map editor is where building my own games started. I still play: Path of Exile 2, World of Warcraft, and God of War are current favorites.
